French Moulding Door

Each of our barn doors are custom made to suit your opening. The door is generally made slightly wider and taller than the opening to provide appropriate coverage, privacy and a beautifully finished appearance.

The moulding and glass pane layout is proportioned to suit the final door size, so the number and dimensions of the panes may vary between projects.

Adequate wall space is required beside the opening for the door to slide open, along with suitable clearance above the opening for the track and hardware.

Simply send us your opening width, opening height, ceiling height and a photo—we'll work out the appropriate door and track size for you.

Each of our French Moulding Glass Doors are custom made in our Melbourne workshop, with a typical lead time of approximately 4–5 weeks from deposit to installation.

Once your door is complete, we'll contact you to arrange a suitable installation date. Your door with then be professionally installed by the owner of Barn Project, ensuring the door, track, hardware and soft-close system are correctly fitted and operating as intended.

Most standard installations are completed within 60 minutes, with your new door ready to enjoy immediately.

Installing barn doors is our speciality which is why we recommend installing your door(s) to ensure it is done to our proficiency. If you or someone else installs the door(s) this will void the warranty of the door(s).

IF YOUR DOOR(S)ARE INSTALLED BY BARN PROJECT WE WILL COVER:

Any warping or twisting of the door from date of install for 2 years. We will completely replace the door if this occurs.

A one time call-out or fix-up.

A one time call-out to fix a soft close - Refrain from slamming the doors; any visible damage caused by slamming will void the warranty and result in the removal of the soft close.

WE WONT COVER:

If you have painted, varnished or stained the door. This may react to the paint/materials used to make the door(s) and can cause damage we will not cover. If you would like a specific colour, kindly inform us before paying your deposit.

If you leave a door outside or exposed to the elements.

If you change your mind.

If your door is damaged due to its placement, as they are a timber product, they expand and contact with temperature changes. This includes but not restricted to: under/near a heater, aircon, or behind a TV/gaming consoles or fireplace.
